    Up out of the way radio-player

    Sound is decent enough for a small radio-cd player. Easy to plug in a phone that has a jack. Radio sensitivity is fair at best, not surprising considering the lack of an external antenna. But, it is up off the counter. That’s why I bought it used, and I suspect it is far better than the only off brand under counter radio-players that are still available new.

    Sony quality is slipping.....

    Over the years I've purchased and used many Sony products and have been very happy with them. We've purchased three of these units. One has been excellent for over a year. The other two have both had problems. A great unit when it works, but very frustrating when it doesn't.......

    Sounds good, easy to operate

    This is an under the counter radio so my expectations of sound quality weren't that high. The Sony sounds good. It's easy to operate and the remote has a magnet which sticks the refrigerator so it never gets lost. This particular model has been discontinued by Sony.

    Great product for the price

    Got this virtually new from a private owner on eBay. Mounted it under cabinet in the kitchen. It was a replacement for a Bose Wave radio. While it doesn't quite have the base punch of the Bose, it's a great second choice. The sound is clear with strong enough base and clear treble tones. For approximately a $300 price difference, this was a great choice. Very happy.

    Dont pay big money for the hype because it's a discontinued model

    Yes, this sounds pretty good but not like a Bose Sound Dock in case that's what your expecting. This is nothing more than a clock radio that mounts under your kitchen cabinet, Oh big deal that you can plug into your phone or ipod from AUX connection, there are so many under cabinet clock radios that can do that any way or better yet, that have built in Bluetooth connection under $50. these sellers are trying to get you hooked on this radio like it's the best in the world hype to mark the price up way more than it's worth. Sony has other models that sound exactly as this one does and cost in the $30 to $50 range here on ebay. Don't get sucked into the hype I have owned this model and others by Sony, that's why I already know this is not worth what its trending in price, it is in reality and ...
