Candy for motoring enthusiasts
Peter Egan just has to be one of the most entertaining writers ever. Those of us who are enthusiasts of motorized transport – cars, motorcycles, airplanes – are incredibly lucky that he is one of us. His words incise quickly right to the meat of a common experience, quite often to an aspect that I hadn’t really thought about before, “right on” and humorous. His Side Glances columns from Road & Track magazine have been anthologized into three books. Almost all entries are 1 – 2 pages long, perfect for times when you have only a short time to read – you can read through in a very short time and savor for as long as you like.Peter Egan just has to be one of the most entertaining writers ever.
