Perfect value, simple to use
I bought this to connect to my iPhone so I could play movies that we own on a “big screen” for my kids while we are in our camper. It works! Tip: on my phone you have to start the movie and then plug on the projector *after* you’ve started the movie. If you plug it in first, Apple displays an error saying that it won’t allow you to connect to this source. There is no keystone option so you have to just manually position the projector in the correct spot for a perfect, undistorted rectangle. The projector has a built-in speaker which is not loud but works fine for a small gathering in a small space. There is an audio jack to plug it into a speaker if you need more powerful sound. I tried this as well and it worked. Overall this is such a fantastic value for the money. I looked at dozens of others and even purchased and returned other projectors because they just didn’t work (overly complex, won’t connect to your phone, limits you to only playing only content from certain streaming services, etc). I was starting to think there was no simple projector that would just let you play content from your phone. I was about to give up and then found this one. Tiny yet powerful
This device really surprised me in it's image brightness and functionality. I had expected much more of a toy-level for the price, but in fact it is quite serviceable for my needs and I haven't had it long enough to really experiment with all its uses. One of the best deals I've ever gotten at Ebay, I'd say! And that's saying a lot! These are cool little devices for use while camping in the boonies and you wish to watch a video at night, doubles for a charger as well.
This is a sweet little device. Outstanding video quality in a dark room, this little pocket projector outshines my DELL Professional Unit that I had to present classes to the Police Department back when I was working. I use it at night in the bedroom to watch BONES on my ROKU stick that plugs into the back of the unit. She will show 3 half hour shows on one charge while using the battery pack to power the ROKU. If I plug the Roku into a power brick I can get 4 shows, and if I plug into the wall with a 7 foot USB cable, she will run all night. She replaces my tablet that I have been watching Bones on. Quality is terrible weather it's in a dark room or not it is so dim. Picture is not even half of what it's supposed to protect and is cut off at the the top half.
