Super bright
I'm using these lights for my tail/brake lights and couldn't be more happier with them. I don't usually do reviews, but these are impressive. I am using them on my motorcycles because you can't be seen enough on a bike. Well worth the money.

Quality lacking overall,
Bought these for some clear tail lights on my car. These are the only red bulbs I found. Purchased 4, one broke off the base on a simple install, another burned out in a month. On the last two now. I can say one of four has lasted a few months. Too bad. I will paint the next ones myself. On a positive note red bulbs are great for the subtle crack in a tail light allowing no white light to show. Brighter than many
These were brighter than some others that I purchased that said they were super bright. I like the focused beam shooting straight back, and the side lights seem to not be diminished by this feature

I had been looking for Red Lights of this type for some time. Finally found these, and can't say enough good about them. I know, they're just light bulbs, but these just fit the installation location perfectly. Most, if not all motorcycles these days come with standard amber rear turn signals. That typically leaves only ONE light used for a brake light. While this does meat DOT standards, it does not really help a cyclist to be seen at night. Older bikes, such as Harley Davidson Heritage Classics, had red signal lights, and also doubled as tail lights, so there was a 3 light tail illumination that was easier to see especially at night. My Suzuki Boulevard C90 also had just the single tail / break light configuration. There are NO Red lenses made for the signals on the rear of the ... I had been looking for Red Lights of this type for some time. Finally found these, and can't say enough good about them. However, there were after market Clear and Smoked lenses one can purchase. Finding suitable red 1157 type bulbs became the next challange. I modified the turn signals to accept the 1157 bulbs and installed the clear lenses. I couldn't be happier. The extra "SEE ME" lighting gives me an added measure that someone will see me much earlier from behind. LED lights were another option, but require additional modifications to the wiring to prevent fast flashing. These bulbs are bright and do the job without further modifications to the bike wiring.

PINK! Save your time and money.
If you're expecting a "RED" lamp, it's not even close lit up. It's PINK! Disappointing in conjunction with a smoked lens conversion. Waste of time and money here folks. Better off going the LED route. At least you'll truly have a red running and brake light. Sorry I can't say anything positive about this 1157 red bulb.
