I'd class this as large not large to extra large...I had a knee op and my centre knee is 43cm, then 10cm above that my thigh was 47cm. I could just about get the velcro to attach. If your knee is bigger then it won't fit. I wore it to the gym and it was comfortable, just wish I could wrap it abit better with more length. It didn't gather behind my knee and I was able to cycle with it. Gave support...well packaged, delivered well... Well priced. 👍

Reasonably good knee brace but it uses velcro patches on the receiving loop side (rather than the whole material are being able to take the hook side). Consequently there is little adjustment and it restricts it purely to the loop patch. The mid strap is alittle long too meaning correct compression is tricky as there is little adjustment...it is ok and provides some support but it's not amazing. Probably better to find one where the loop side is the material itself rather than patches. score 3/5
