A Gift
I bought this guitar as a gift for my adult daughter who, after watching and listening to me play all her life, asked me out of the blue if I would teach her how to play (she's discovered she has a fine singing voice and wants to accompany herself). She mentioned that a dreadnaught felt uncomfortably large, and as I was familiar with parlor guitars, knew this would be a good choice for her first instrument. Moreover, I wanted for her to have a guitar her father bought for her after I'm gone as a remembrance of my love for her. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase - it isn't a vintage solid-mahogany 00 or 000 Martin, but it's a good approximation - it has a nice tone, good sustain, a comfortable neck, and decent electronics, all at a good price point.
