    Great for running multiple amplifiers for mixed sets of speakers.

    i own 3 of these and they are reliable, clean power for basic amplified purposes. If you use tape out from one unit to tape in on another unit, you can link multiple amps. This is especially effective if you have multiple pairs of speakers of different sizes....Once you set each amp's volume (based on each set of speakers need) then you can control volume with only one remote....You can't do that with a single amp , such as a 7.1 or a 5.1 surround sound.

    Great sounding unit to add any TWO 8 Ohm speakers to amplify and improve sound of your big TV or desktop computer video and music. FM reception is great with a very small wire for an antenna. Person writing the review about the radio dropping off probably needs an antenna. I have learned to select radio stations manually on the receiver. It is a bit difficult to move the station selector and make it stop exactly on your desired station. I have not tried this with the remote. One can preset many stations for push-button tuning convenience. My experience is that both CD and video sound inputs amplify and produce sound from your preamps in the same way. So, you can connect two devices individually and utilize the remote to control each device. This is a great unit for improving poor ...

    Tested and Working

    The receiver does exactly what it's meant to do. I hooked it up to my speakers with wire I bought from Best Buy, and it works great! The remote functions as well. It's easy to control the volume, and I can mess with the treble, bass, and LR balance if I wanted to. I'm satisfied.

    Nice..

    This is my second one. They are easy to use and have plenty of power and also have a bass boost feature. I was lucky to find a new one. They stopped making them a few years ago.
