The Busy Woman's Fitting Book by Nancy Zieman/Fanning
I do a lot of garment sewing and just recently rediscovered the pivot and slide fitting technique. Like this book, the technique has been around for a while. I went to E-Bay knowing that if anyone would have this "out-of-print" sewing book, it would be them. I was not disappointed. This is a great book for sewers, especially for those that are looking for a fast and relatively easy way to a good garment fit in bodice and pants patterns. New and returning sewers would be wise to add this book, if they can find it, to their sewing libraries. Otherwise you waste time and money on clothes you won't wear. This book helps to get great fitting patterns.I love this book because it is simple to understand. I would buy this book again! It is well writen to help the sewer. I always have love Nancy Zieman. She is a very good teacher of sewing. She also has books on fitting. She is the only one I could understand about fitting.
