My Milwaukee Impact Driver (2650-20) was slowing down with loss of power. I inspected the brushes and found that one brush was considerably shorter than the other three. The short brush was about 5/16". I was uncertain if this would cause loss of power. I desoldered the old brush card and soldered in the new card. Well... the Impact Driver now performs as new! If you are concerned about the desoldering and soldering, don't worry there are plenty of Youtube videos on how to do it. I used a $13 soldering iron that is meant for stained glass work.My Milwaukee Impact Driver (2650-20) was slowing down with loss of power. Milwaukee M-18 brush replacement for impact drill
Brushes do wear out and mine had a lot of use. Installing the new brush set was pretty straight forward and restored the impact drill to its original condition. I would recommend this product to anyone who had a drill or impact with worn brushes.

Works like a champ
Not sure of the longevity of the part but it works. FYI if there are no instructions so be aware that the shrink wrap will have be cut from the old leads and the wire desoldered. You will want soldering iron and and some shrink wrap.
