After speaking with the seller, we had a positive discussion regarding packing. The unit was packed with plenty of packing paper but it may have been damaged in transit. Either way, I was able to get the unit to work on my end despite the large case breakage. Great seller though + I hope to do more business w/ them

    black vintage wall phone

    I ordered this because i wanted a vintage ringer. This phone does not have that, the ringer sound pitiful but I love the look.

    Perfect for my kitchen

    We needed a simple land line phone in our kitchen. We have a standard female wall jack and this phone took all of 12 seconds to install. The bell is quite loud. I may try to mute it somehow if I find it bothers me later. There is no 'tone' as you dial the numbers, but the call goes through. This phone delivers what I needed.
