About this product

Product Information

No One Can Stop Mr. Domino is a puzzle-based action game with a dash of strategy thrown in for good measure. Taking on the role of either Mr. or Miss Domino (cosmetic differences aside, they're exactly the same), players waddle their way through six timed stages set within suburbia, dropping dominoes while moving along. Each stage is structured within a closed loop, requiring players to first drop dominoes and then knock into them on subsequent laps, with the ultimate goal of hitting certain objects or triggering specific switches. The screen scrolls continuously, requiring players to quickly decide how to complete their task.

Littered on each stage are obstacles ranging from speed-up and slow-down pads to reset buttons and more ominous impediments such as moving cars or swinging sugar packets. As with most puzzle-oriented titles, combos play a vital role in achieving high scores. Setting off a series of dominoes that finish on top of flashing blocks, for example, earns players bonus points. Switches emblazoned with the face of a particular family member can also be triggered for points, which results in a brief cut-scene depicting the humorous consequences of Mr. Domino's actions (such as the father being hit by a spring-loaded boxing glove).

  • Looks Really Cool, But.......

The 3 stars are for excellent graphics and a unique game idea. It would be 5 if not for the difficulty and NON SAVING feature that kills it. The memory card only saves the options you chose, and you start over at the first level after loading. Forever continues may have saved this really colorful and detailed game, but if you want to see past level 2, watch it on You Tube, I did, that made me buy it and then sell it the next day.

  • Short and sweet with some replay value

This quirky reflex-puzzle game seems short with only 5 levels, but you'll come back for more to get more chains and get a higher score!

  • A cool blast from the past

A cool PS1 gem that I wasn't able to play as a kid, but am able to play now. Had plenty of fun for sure.
