Finally some freedom!
Our baby is 10 months old and loves to explore. We were always afraid to leave the room to go the bathroom if he was sleeping just in case he wakes up while we're away. This gives us confidence the baby isn't in distress because we can see where he is and what he is doing. Things I like - It's plug and play. The parent unit connects to the camera without any fiddling with the range - It indicates the temperature of the room - It has an bar that indicates if the baby begins crying, although you have to set the volume to high as the audio is a bit quiet on the lower settings - The screen is large and feels like you're holding a large smartphone (although it's a bit thicker than a phone) - The battery life of the parent handheld unit is good, it comes with two power adapters. One is to charge the parent unit and another is used to power the camera (always connected). - The device has a sound detection setting which activates the screen if the baby starts crying. You should enable this feature because the default screen timeout is around a minute - The camera switches between night-mode (for low lit areas) which displays the image in black and white and day-mode which displays in colour. The image is better when you have some ambient lighting. What can better - The screen has a maximum timeout of 5 minutes to preserve battery life. It would be good if we could enter a custom value here. - The volume must be set high because the handheld speaker is a bit quiet

Initially found this a great product but unfortunately after only 5 months of use the camera has become very unreliable and keeps turning itself off and losing signal thanks to what seems like a loose wire. A one month guarantee just isn’t good enough on an expensive product like this, I would expect it to last much longer.

Easy setup, good range, not great battery life and pan/tilt
Really easy to set up but the controls are not super intuitive in the beginning e.g. volume and pan and tilt. However the manual is very easy to understand. Range was surprisingly better than expected, don’t suffer as much in a house where I need a WiFi mesh network. Intercom feature is incredibly useful, especially in a larger house. Only complaints are that battery on the monitoring unit doesn’t last as long as expected and if placed on a higher shelf than the crib couldn’t tilt down far enough and needed to buy a third-party mount to get the right angle.
