    Well made quality gauge.

    This is a well thought out design. You can read it to tenths of an inch. Very large easy to read numbers. Small red float helps you to accurately read the gauge. Very happy with this gauge. Most gauges I've seen are toys compared to this one.

    My rain gauge thoughts

    I am sure that it will work just fine if we ever get rain again (I live in New Mexico) , the yellow print is a little hard to see at some angles and I don't care for the holder that is supposed to be used to mount it to a wooden post, There is a bit of an interference when it comes time to empty it, All in all though it seems sturdily built and the materials seem to be of good quality as well,

    Taylor 2708 Rain Gauge

    I had a similar one years ago but this one is better. Markings are excellent, easy to read. Red disc is very visible. O-Ring on the bottom piece is a nice touch. The stake for ground mounting is perhaps a bit wimpy, but it works OK. Overall very happy with it and if it needs replacing one day I will get the same one.

    Rain gauge, the good and the bad.

    This rain gauge is perfect for any people in retirement years with eyesight on the decline. While there hasn't been any rain here yet, water put into the gauge gives a good indication of what you will see after a rain. I can see one problem with this gauge. That would be the gauge getting struck by hail. No rain gauge is safe from hail so if hail is on its way then I would suggest bringing the gauge inside.

    The Last Rain Gauge You'll Ever Buy

    I love this rain gauge! I've had every rain gauge available through the years, but I don't need to try any more now that I have this one. It is easy to read from a distance thanks to the red floating marker, and easy to empty. It does everything it's supposed to do!
