The case is good. In all honesty, the finger print scanner is desensitized by any of these cases but I don't think it's specific to this case. Just these types of cases. I'm not game to check water proof claim but visually it appears it might be ok. Have a feeling the screen might not have the best protection from a drop but scratches and minor scuffs should be prevented.
