But when it came down to it, it just did not work. The switch on the PCB has no issues, stalk length, the black bit of the switch, is of the correct length, and is not worn. I will get a replacement body from Aliexpress. Thank you for trying

But it is only just a little bit higher than the button hole, and is a little shorter than the hole, so there’s a possibility that it could come out. I’ve put a bit of (hot glue gun) glue on the outside and that seems ok at present.
