90 minute CDs
I was hoping to get my CD recorder to be able to use 90 minute CDs. 74 minutes of CDA (CD quality audio) is the original CD standard but 80 minute CDA is getting to be very common. Since many cassette tapes are 90 minutes I wanted to use CDs that matched this. VERY DIFFICULT Not the fault of the CD but the CD recorder Data Cds not a problem, wma or mp3 music cds - again not a problem for recording on my CD recorder (except that if used on another CD player that other player may not be able to play wma or mp3) For music Cds (ie CDA CD audio) the standard is 74 minutes music but most devices can record and play back 80 minutes CD quality audio NOT SO with 90 minutes Even if I could get my rather upmarket CD recorder to record more than 80 minutes of CD quality music I could ...
