I read the instructions to first charge the battery fully and then discharge but when I installed the new battery the computer would show low flat battery so I let it charge an hour . The computer would not go past the showing the low battery message but after leaving g it charge a few hours the charger turned green and then the computer started fine. Works fine so far.
