He agreed to accept my offer so it seemed that the sale was organised. We exchanged phone numbers etc to organise pick up. He phoned me wanting to cancel the sale so I would come and but it directly from him, not through Ebay. I said I wanted to buy through Ebay. He immediately refunded the money and again contacted me hoping that I would buy it directly from him. In his original advertisement he had said "no refund" and perhaps he was trying to avoid the warranty which Ebay gives.
