An age-old feud between two Kentucky families reaches boiling point in The Trail of the Lonesome Pine. The Tollivers and the Falins have been at odds for decades. With plans to build a railroad through both families' land and mine coal deposits beneath it, enterprising outsider Jack Hale (Fred MacMurray, Double Indemnity) inadvertently becomes entangled in the region's politics. When Hale is drawn to the beautiful June Tolliver (Sylvia Sidney, Summer Wishes, Winter Dreams) he becomes involved in a dangerous love triangle with her and her cousin Dave (Academy Award winner Henry Fonda, On Golden Pond) who is far from content playing second fiddle to the ambitious newcomer. Based on the novel by John Fox, Jr. , directed by acclaimed filmmaker Henry Hathaway (True Grit) and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music/Song, The Trail of the Lonesome Pine is an engaging old-fashioned Western tale of loyalty, family and romance.

Not only was the item exactly as described as far as I could tell, but the customer service was lovely and reassuring. I emailed to double check about when I could expect the item to be sent and the seller was just so patient and nice!
My local post office ended up goofing up and losing the package but the seller had it so well packaged that when it was found and returned to me (thank goodness!) there was no damage.
