    DVI-D to VGA Active Adapter.

    Item does work, but, will drop signal a few times a day. This could be a big problem for a gamer. The outage only last for a few seconds. It just gets to be a pain if you are in the middle of something important. There is no reset required, it just cuts out, then, comes back on. It will do this even if the USB adapter is plugged in to a power port.. My video card is a XFX Radeon RX 560. I only have DVI-D outlets or HDMI. Right now all I have is a VGA Monitor. Looks like I will have to spend money for a new monitor that is digital. This works for now, even though it can be frustrating at times. Live and learn, I always thought there just one DVI type plug.. Seems there is DVI-D and DVI-I. The DVI-D is strictly digital, and the DVI-I can be digital or analog.
