The storyline can be considered cliche by some with the characters' inner conflict, the superb fighting skills and the Bond-esque one-liners; the need for revenge and the conspiracy theories, but I still enjoyed it. For one, the female protagonist displayed human characteristics in her doubts and fears and longing for intimacy; for another, the brief bouts of humor one can spot throughout the book is really entertaining, especially when you take into account the usual stoicism the characters try to pull off. The characters are all supremely skilled in whatever they do, sometimes to the point of fancy in my mind, but that's all just part of reading fiction and loving it. I definitely enjoyed the book.
