  • Not worth the extra money!

I purchased the qled thinking there would be a much sharper picture than my current HDR samsung. I was wrong, completely wrong! I believe the picture is compatible with the 3 year old HDR 4k but absolutely no better. This TV has 20 watts of power for the speakers however you must have it turned up much louder even with smart mode engaged in order to hear anything. This TV is also much heavier than my previous model, in fairness it is a 75" as compared to 65" however still much heavier. Over-all I would not recommend spending the extra 35-40% more to purchase this TV as compared to an HDR crystal 4k. I could have gotten a 4k HDR TV for under $1000 and probably would have been just as happy and $600 richer in the long run. This is a nice TV however mostly hype compared to the old style HDR ...

  • Lovely tv, but just not ready out of the box.

Personally I feel that these type of tvs are overrated. This tv likes to mention "perfect blacks." Still under question for me. However, if and I mean if, you play around with the adjustments long enough, then you can find the picture that meets your desires. I have been tinkering for a couple weeks here and there and have yet to find that quality that the demo in the store provides. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with this tv overall and hope it last me many years. Processor is fast. Apps open quickly. Able to switch between sources with no problem. Sound is only ok. Tv is 80 lbs. Picture is nice and bright. I have played some amazing demo-worthy 4k videos via YouTube!
