    Miller's AAF was a hit for the AEF

    An excellent compilation of Miller's work for the AEF. I've been a huge fan of his army band since I was in Jr. High and visited Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio where they have some of the band fronts (stylized music stands) and some of the arrangements on display. Beautiful music from a very ugly time. Highly recommended for all fans of 1940s pop and jazz.

    There's a lot of songs sung in the German language, Although I don't understand the wording they still sound excellent to me.I have been a fan of Glenn Miller since I saw the "Glenn Miller Story" when I was 14 y.o.. I will be 71 in December.
