So this is definitely a custom made part and needed some work to fit the bike. The pictures don't show the cowl being drilled but they drilled it at the very front of the cowl. Unfortunately, this is not where the mounting holes are on the seat that it needs to attach to. I would have preferred that they left it undrilled. Shipping was slow, they gave a tracking number weeks before they actually shipped it with no communication on when it would actually ship. Most likely a made to order part.

Tank arrived on time and fits perfect on my 1978 BMW R80/7. I would recommend that they don’t paint the gas tips on the tank where the petcocks screw on. I had to remove the paint in one order for the petcocks to screw on. Outside of that, my 1978 BMW R80/7 looks awesome with the new tank!
