Lens baby 2 versus Composer
Last may i bought a Lens Baby 2 for a Canon.I put it on my Rebel and havn't taken it off since.Pushing and pulling for depth of field and focus is very intuitive. I decided I wanted one for my Nikon 700.I bought a Composer which is a later model lens baby that you can set and it stays set. It also has an independent focusing ring so you can set your depth and blurry areas and then focus.The lens baby 2 doesn't stay set and there is no independent focus. You have to hold it in place with your fingers while you shoot. If you are shooting action or spur of the moment It's much easier since you can make minor adjustments as needed. The composer requires,set the depth and blurry area, focus, tweak and re-focus before taking the picture if you are shooting still life's the composer is best. if ...
