I have owned every type of airgun under the sun, besides the PCP guns... those are too expensive for me. I usually like my regular old pump rifles and especially liked the pump up air pistol my dad had when I was a kid. I foundbone, and bid on it, but did not win. I just couldn't afford it. For a decent price though, I appeased myself with this benjamin nitro piston pistol. I'll be danged, I fell in love. It's easy to cock, quick, very quiet, and hits like a ton of bricks. For plinking I have accurate shots as far as I did with my small pump rifle so far and have punched through old cooking pots etc.with alloy pellets. With lead pellets the guy is a rat killing machine. Not quite seniauto, but good one shot kills and no collateral damage when shooting in the garage etc yet. I could see this thing knocking crows and squirrels out just as well. Depending on the distance I suggest lead for hunting. I had an alloy pellet exit the carcass of a rat and bounce around a bit before settling on the floor... no damage. But the lead always stopped and had a satisfying thud and knockdown power, cock, load and go again. I love this thing. For one pump power in a pistol, I feel I did pretty good. It definitely works better than the old pump up version I wanted originally! Highly recommended! Read full review

Really nice air gun, the optics one it work great even in low light conditions. It is very well made and feels like it will last. It is currently breaking in and has alot of smoke because of that but its still a great buy and i definitely reccomend this for anyone who wants to start plinking

Not a match grade pistol but definitely good for refining target skills and plinking. Rear sight is adjustable but not enough to shoot accurately without the cocking assist attached when firing. Don't understand why but with the plastic cocking assist cap attached, the pellets consistently shoot approx 2-inches lower at 10meters. I would recommend the pistol for some plinking fun.

great air pistol, more than enough power and speed for most all small game. This is my first air pistol ever, I'm really impressed ! I very seldom use my .22 cal. rifle anymore. you can carry alot of ammo in a small space. I carry a small ww 2 ammo pouch ( about 3" wide by 3" long by 1" thick) and carry over 1000 rounds (enough to shoot 2 or 3 years) GREAT PISTOL!
