About this product

Product Information

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is a third-person shooter featuring a lone Predator on a quest to hunt down acid-spitting and face-hugging Aliens lurking in Gunnison, Colorado. Based on the 2007 film from 20th Century Fox, Requiem has players engaging in fast-paced blasting and brutal close-quarters combat across levels with branching paths. Featured environments include forests, suburbs, warehouses, underground sewers, and more. The Predator can eliminate its prey by using a flying disc weapon, wrist blades, a hand cannon blaster, dual shoulder cannons, and laser trip mines.

A wrist-mounted computer allows the Predator access to thermal vision modes for tracking or cloaking technology to elude soldiers. As in the film and comic book series, the Predator is bound by honor, reflected in a point system that penalizes players for killing civilians. Points are used as currency to purchase equipment upgrades in between levels. In addition to hunting enemies, players must also find and destroy pieces of Alien technology. Solo Predators can participate in either the Story Mode or a timed Skirmish Mode. Ad-hoc wireless support is also included in a two-player contest to see who can kill the most Aliens.

    AvP PSP Game

If you are a fan of the movies, then you'll like this one and only exclusive for PSP. You can only play as the Predator but that's fine, because he has plenty to do! I personally like AvP games and this one is a fine addition to my collection.

  • AVP:R review

Being a huge fan of the 1987 film Predator, I always get suckered into purchasing any related games that come out. I’d have to say, as a fan, I was a little disappointed in a few aspects, but I would still keep this in my game library because it’s just simply Predator. GOOD: The graphics for the PSP are quite enjoyable. The movement is fluid and it doesn’t take a whole lot to adjust to the learning curve. The game levels match many of the scenes that you see during the movie, such as the forest, Predator ship, the sewers, the power plant, the urban town, and the hospital. As you progress through the levels you can choose to just follow 1 of 3 routes to the final hospital level, or you can do all 3 routes at the same time to increase your score. I do like the fact that you gain points by ...

  • AVP-R? no, AVP-dissapointment

I bought this game because i am a huge Predator fan. But i dissapointed to have beaten it after 2 days, the game has potential but the developers got lazy. Humans keep repeating the same phrases over and over again, and the Aliens dont sound anything like their movie counterpart. Its more like a bunch of dying cats on fire than aliens screeching. And the multiplayer was dissapointing as well, instead of offering deathmatch or any vs games, they just make you team up with the another person and withstand as many aliens as possible. The game isnt that much like the movie either, you never fight the predalien. The closest you get to one are the praetions who kinda look like they have dreadlocks but its still sad, and the only boss fight is against a helicopter and even that is dissapointing. ...

  • Review on AVP

This game is easy to control and easy to finish the whole story. In the end it may not as the same as the movie ending but it is still fun to play with. Once the players unlock everything(which is the weapon) and upgrade those you will easy get bored. If you really like this movie, it is nice to have it and just kill for fun. I rate this game average because I except the game will have a bunch of alien I am going to kill; however, each stage has just a few. It is really a few, talking like not more than 15~20.
