  • ROLLIN STONES in 6(!) ED SULLIVAN SHOWS. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! DON'T MISS OUT!

This dvd set is an absolute most for any Rolling Stones adept, but probably for anyone who grew up, or is interested in the sixties! It offers 17 early b&w and color classics by the Stones in pretty high quality, set in full length versions of the well known Ed Sullivan shows, so there is not just the Stones, but quite a bit more from that era. It also includes the old commercials during the shows... It's great to see why The Rolling Stones were so different from anything else around that time. When watching "Let's spend the night together" which was censured by Ed Sullivan, you'll see Mick Jagger sing "Let's spend SOME TIME(!)together, while rolling his eyes! Hilarious! Included is a nice 24 page booklet with photos, biographies of the band members, work permits, contract ...

  • Fantastic!

This is definitely a wonderful collection of Ed Sullivan shows and it brings back a lot of memories - I can't believe it's been over fifty years since these shows were first seen. I was a teenager at the time, as you no doubt have imagined. I have fond memories of many of the stars in these shows, and especially like the comedians in those days - the 1960s. I have always been a Rolling Stones fan, and this collection of their performances is highly recommended. Some of their best songs are the rare ones that they don't do nowadays, like Lady Jane and Everybody Needs Somebody to Love! This is a great addition to anyone's collection.
