Bought for our autistic grandson, He's bright, but has only been building Lego products on his own (he's twelve this week) for a year. He has had Pa-pa working with him on those multi-story building from Streetscapes(?). We started Lego builds with him about three years ago, with a fire station that had a roll-up garage door and other door types. He has gotten the Corner Garage and fell in love with the truck and lift. Pa-pa (me) is a Ford-Romantic, so seeing a Bronco and an updated Fort GT 40; Caleb just had to have it. It's been two wonderful evenings where, "Papa, come help me, please." has been a joy to my ears that his dad never allowed me: Dad is a stubborn, crafty young man, that works things through using an artist's mind. Caleb is more of a realist that categorizes. Example, at two, he was informing his younger sister that the stairs / ladder on a public swimming pool or slide was a "climb-up". Yes, it has been fun watching our little "Master Builder" mature, as he enjoys learning new ways to combine known bricks, blocks, and tiles with a few stickers and wheels.Read full review
