About this product

Product Information

Twenty years after the original HALLOWEEN, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), now the headmistress of a Northern California private school under an assumed name, is still struggling with the terrifying memories of the psychotic killer Michael Myers. That horror becomes a reality once again when Michael returns, embarking on a murderous roadtrip from Illinois to California, killing three more people and stealing a victim's car before threatening the lives of Laurie's rebellious son (Josh Hartnett), his girlfriend (Michelle Williams), and the school security guard (LL Cool J). It's up to Laurie to conquer her internal demons and end Michael's evil. And a conveniently placed ax might just help her accomplish the task....

  • Who Knew Michael Myers Could Drive and Use Mapquest?!

I am always amazed at studios that keep these horror franchises alive. Why not just do a tv show? That way you can have as many Halloween, Friday the 13th, Saw, Nightmare on Elm Street etc. as you want. If they were any different then I could see the reasoning for sequels but they are exactly the same as the originals. I enjoy horror sequels because I like making fun of horror movies. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE horror films, it is my favorite genre. But making fun of the bad ones is part of that love. H2O is one of those sequels that are done just to make a buck. The only ties to the original are a couple of characters and their history. Updated to suit the new generation of horror fans - not so much horror as "shock" - this one has slick production values, great looking cast with ...

  • Halloween & Mr. Hartnett

I don't like scary movies, especially Michael Myers. However, this movie is excellent. I have not seen any of the other movies except for bits and pieces. This movie seems to focus more on the characters and who they are. It's not all about blood and guts and horrible ickiness. Jamie Lee Curtis continues to be the leading woman, but there is depth to her having to hide herself and her son, fear all consuming every Halloween. Josh Hartnett is great as the son who has never met his uncle and is exasperated with his mother's obsessive alcoholic depression that smothers him trying to spread his wings. Girlfriend, Michelle Williams, is really sweet and pulls through to the end. My favorite, and everyone who's watching, LL Cool J, is the one you root for. He has such a small part ...
