I have used Fluke multimeters my entire electrical career. I have trusted my life to Fluke in the industrial environment, as well as commercial and residential. What drew my interest in the T5's was the convenience factor, the leads are on the bottom and parallel to the case, because of this, I could easily slide the T5 in my hip pocket, and have for years upon years. I love the fact they are auto-ranging, too. Slender enough to fit between wires in panels. I always connect any meter I use to a known live circuit first. If the meter tells me it's dead, that meter is trash, an accident waiting to happen. I have never had a Fluke let me down, in 30 years.

Don't risk your life with a cheap meter. Get a Fluke, know how to use it properly, and live a long healthy life. I bought this meter to replace one I had for 10 years or so, which was stolen from me. This meter is like my best friend, is durable, accurate, rugged, reliable and is the best out there in my opinion. So, what's the difference between a $20 meter and a $120 meter you might ask, you will go through several $20 meters and always question thier reliability, with this meter you know its made right and can be trusted all day every day.
