    Unbelievably sad... A massively tragic but inspiring true story

    An incredibly sadly disturbing book that made me move from sadness, to anger at times. Was, at the time, the worst case of child abuse in the countries history. How he even survived, let all to succeed to become "An man called Dave" is beyond incredible. IWon't say more or will spoil it. Have a box, it two, of tissues on hand. I leant this to a friend who lost it. Have bought again as it's one of those books you will likely want to keep forever. I bought because of my own childhood but wow, even I was shocked. When you hear people give excuses for their behaviours as adults, and blame their childhoods, I think of this survivor, no wrong word, he did not just survive. No more or it will spoil it
