Lightweight and great features
this is a quality produce with long heritage. Programing was a challenge. Had to use a magnifying glass to read the buttons. I had to contact Intermatic for help. They were great and progrmaed in 5 minutes.

Dependable timer and at a good price.
I have one in use for approx. 10 years, works great. Had two other timers that were dial type that lost their memory whenever there was a power outage and I had to regulate for sunset changes year round. These are for nighttime exterior lighting. I wanted two more Intermatics but could not find them in local home improvement stores. Bought two of the other brand and could not get them to work without getting an electrician to my house to install a neutral wire to my circuit breaker box. Got my money back and found two Intermatics on Ebay. Programmed and installed them in minimal time. Both have battery backup and work perfectly.I have one in use for approx. 10 years, works great. Can't live without this
Had an analog one for years before it finally gave up the ghost. This digital one is so much easier to program and has features that my old one didn't. If/when this dies, I will definitely get another. It is good for security because it has a random mode which makes the house look lived in with unpredictable on/off times and it is great to come home with the porch lights on for safety.

Unduly Complex to Operate-Program
Takes an hour to get it right as the directions are too complex, instructions font that only a magnifier can make readable and then too many options to be useful to program.
