    Nice motorcycle friendly GPS

I bought this unit to replace on old Zumo that I am unable to update. I really like the WiFi update feature. Familiar to use. I’m not very tech savvy, but I was able to pair it to my phone and headset easily. It took a little extra time to set up the unit how I liked and adjust the sound levels, but still very easy. Works well with gloves. Music access is easy too. I accidentally paired the phone to the headset as well, and the sound became confused. Now I make sure my pairings are correct. The motorcycle mount is easy to use and hook up. Only complaint is the screen is a bit small, but my eyes are getting old; so it may be me. It took me a few hours to do an initial download and set up: until I was comfortable using it before actually operating it while moving fast. The ...

    Poor power design

The contacts on the rear of the unit do not line up with the power cord and therefore no power to the unit. I figure Garmin would have found a better way to power this unit . The mounting device is solid, just can't get the direct battery power to run the unit.

  • good but it shuts off

has some nice features such as picking routes with curves and hills. has a unique way of attaching to the power cords. Strange that the power cord to run the unit does NOT charge the unit. It has a second normal way to hook up a charging cord. Whoever heard of a power hook up that doesn't also charge the battery? That is a minor nuisance but what i found unacceptable is that the unit shuts off whenever if feels like it. i specified that it ALWAYS stays on, but to no avail. So, if you are trying to be directed to the right roads, what use is a GPS that shuts off. Now the one day it kept doing it, it was 97 degrees and i thought it might have been overheating, but it's done it on other pleasant weather days. So, i tend to use my car gps, the 52LM because it has a RAM cradle and it ...

  • Great for motorcycles - rainproof.

My only beef with this unit is that the icons on the screen are too small compared to my Nuvi. I actually like the screen on the Nuvi better - this one reduces the size of the speed limit for instance to a really small font that you cna barely see. Otherwise - good!

  • Garmin Zumo and Sena 10R combo

Sena 10r headset is EXCELLENT works well right up to it's limit. We usually turn them on solid and do not use the VOX feature. They will last 8 to 10 hours. Ant the Garmin curvy road feature is great to find those backroads that make your day.
