    Inspirational Comments on Life

    The Father Tim's personal comments about life cause me to compare them to what I believe, have discovered in my 82 years of living, and have found to be true. Most of them are derived from other high profile people or famous people all the way back to early times in our world.     A ContinualFeast by Jan Karon

    Jan Karon is an awesome author who has written a wonderful series of books about a fictional town called Mitford. Once you read the first book, you will be hooked and itching for the next. This is another wonderful book by her, involving her main character in the Mitford Series, Father Timothy. I highly reccomend it, and all of her books. No one could ever be disappointed upon stepping into Mitford, and getting to know the loving people who live and visit there! You will feel that you've known these people your entire life. They truly will become dear friends.

    A Continual Feast...for hungry hearts!

    For those of us who have read and loved Jan Karon's Mitford series, we have often been charmed by their pastor's keeping a journal of quotes. In fact, I have written down many of these quotes because they are so memorable. I remember thinking how I would tremendously enjoy reading all of the quotes Pastor Tim uses in the Mitford series. Jan Karon, once again, is way ahead of her readers in anticipating their desires! A Continual Feast is written in cursive penmanship and with printed post-it notes as if it were the actual journal of Mitford's beloved minister. Typed entries even have his habitually stuck letter "i" from his old typewriter. Mrs.Karon's genius attends to the smallest detail. Treat yourself to this Continual Feast.

    What a wonderful missive that invites you to enjoy it in so many ways. Those that are fans of Fr.Tim and wish to deepen their understanding of this character will enjoy every quote. All tied together with notes reminding Fr. Tim of what it important, mostly his Lovely Wife. For those readers that want to get to know their own character this book is more than a mere invitation. The quotes gathered and the variety of them, provide a window into our own lives with great clarity. Whatever entry into this book that feels most comfortable to you grab on and keep going. I am sad to say that I wonder if either Fr. Tim or the yearning for self knowledge will be a strong enough draw for many men to get past the first pages of this book. It would be a shame if such a large percentage of people ...

    This book was written by the most wonderful author in the world Jan Karon. She is the autor of many books the series I love best is the Mitford Series. Jan Karon writes a beautiful continueing story about life in Mitford. She is an excellant christion author.
