As a part of a series of monster-truck-focused video games that originated with Monster Jam: Maximum Destruction’s 2002 release, Monster Jam is the continuation of a winning combination between giant cars and driving-focused video games. In this game, players earn points by competing in events such as cross-country off-road racing, freestyle and stadium drag racing. In addition to Xbox 360, the 2007 Monster Jam release was compatible with platforms including Nintendo DS, Wii and Playstation 2. Because it’s licensed by the United States Hot Rod Association (USHRA), Monster Jam for Xbox 360 lets players select from 20 digitized versions of real-life monster trucks. Maximum Destruction and Grave Digger are two of the biggest names, but monster truck fans may recognize other favorites in the group. Select your favorite monster truck in Monster Jam for Xbox 360 and cause destruction during freestyle or chase down any competitors in your path during a race. You can earn points for doing damage, winning races and other events within the game. This is the perfect video game for those who want to earn points while experiencing a video game simulation of what it’s like to drive one of these massive vehicles. Other games in the Monster Jam series branch out beyond the Xbox 360 platform, including multiple PlayStation releases, including both PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, though these are not available on the PS4. The last release in this game series, Monster Jam: Path of Destruction, is available for both Xbox 360 and PS3, making it a good addition to this Monster Jam incarnation from 2007. Even if you don’t have a PS3, Wii or another gaming console other than your Xbox 360, you’ll be able to try out multiple different USHRA monster truck games in addition to Monster Jam. Cheats may be available for some Monster Jam games for Xbox 360, though playing without cheats still produces an enjoyable gaming experience. monster jam
I like the fact that they finally made a monster truck game that includes what monster trucks actulley do. Running around with a rocket or mashine gun attatched to you blowing one another up is not monster jam! If they would just make it aval. in PS3 form and continue on the road there on I would buy a game for a 100.00 bucks if the graphics were right. I like monster jam events and love playing racing games. A GEM for kids, beginners and monster truck fans of all ages!
Monster Jam is fun for all ages! It is an older game that is not overly complicated and the trucks are not mounted with weapons to kill each other with. There are scenarios where you crash into other trucks to force them off of the track, and of course you get points for crushing all obstacles in sight. That is the extent of the "violence" in this game. No blood, or running people over. The only body parts flying are pieces of the truck falling off. Personally, I potty trained my two year old by letting him earn time playing this and a few other kid friendly games,(at the end of the day/1hr max),every time he went on the potty. It was such a great reward that it only took three days! Another cool thing is the local 2 player, where we can chase each other in an arena, or even on a few more ... Overall the game control is fairly easy, the physics have a nice feel to them and the replay value is good. For beginners and casual gamers this is a must have GEM. If you are a monster truck fan you will appreciate that you can drive real world trucks like Monster Mutt and you will enjoy the power of a beast of a machine. Collectors of the Hot Wheels Monster Jam trucks will enjoy actually being able to play a game that has their same die cast trucks featured. Hardcore gamers will more likely give it a run through and feel like there could be more to it, like vehicle upgrades or more of a difference between trucks. After all, games have come a long way since 2007.

love the crashing. music is cool making your blood pump as you fly (and sometimes literally) around the track one minute your are in last place, and the next you use fly over head of your opponents and are in first place. FAST PACED. ADRENNALINE CHARGED! YOU JUST CANT PLAY THIS GAME AND BE BORED. MANY WAYS TO PLAY THIS GAME AND SOMETIMES YOU WILL FORGET ITS JUST A GAME.
