  • Great book- stories and art!

This book is great to introduce Fables to a freind, and it is great for a Fables regular reader. The art is the best part. Some of it looks like genuine classic art. The ideas for the stories just flow, and it allows you to know Fable charactor stories on how they left the homelands. To me Fables is the best series ever! I just can't get enough of it. I hope they introduce new charactors as the other ones stories come to conclusions. I think this series can go on for years to come. I would like to see them create a spin off with Cinderella. Again, this book is great for the whole family. It could be used as a bedtime story for children. You just can't go wrong buying this book.

  • It'll start an addiction

The Fables series is a fantastic read, with a good blend of humor, magic, and intrigue. This is the first of nine volumes (so far) in the Fable series, and I've bought each successive one because they are so addicting. The only thing I don't like about the series is the language/partial nudity. The series is a mature read, so not recommended for the youngsters.
