The Man Who Sold the World by Bowie is one of his better albums, first released in 1970, featuring great songs like Width of a Circle, All the Madmen, The Supermen, and the recently popularized title track (thanks to Nirvana). There are no filler tracks on this album, which sounds a bit like classic rock and hints of metal and even flutes in some songs. The topic of the album seems to meander from madness to war to superior machines to Nietzsche from song to song. Bowie's performance is pretty decent, though I think his voice gets better in his twenties and thirties. The album overall is a must for Bowie fans and music enthusiasts alike.

Nice album! Bowie and Mick Ronson, the perfect alchemy. At least here. Demential gothic songs, hallucinanting riffs, spacial keyboards, tough bass lines, tortured vocals, manic drumwork... what more can I say? Just listen to this gem, a timeless classic from the beggining till the end.
