Wagons received when expected. Unfortunately one was damaged, but this was dealt with quickly by the seller and all is now okay. Excellent service. I have found Lima wagons to be excellent value. Although not as detailed as modern rolling stock I like them.

  • Good old British Hornby

This must be one of the last SR full brakes made in Margate. It is solid, runs well and freely, and matches my other Hornby gear. It may not be as detailed as Chinese-made models, but it will last better and looks fine from a distance.

  • Hornby: "Made in England" !

Lovely model with just enough detail to be realistic, without the addition of easily broken fragile items. As my layout manages without inclines, I will probably add some weight to the Van in order to give it more inertia and stability over my "more demanding" pointwork. A full rake of six or eight of these vans would look terrific.
