O.k. first things first- Flerb- just forget it exists, it's horrible, an abomination- the thing that should not be- that said, the Spring and Hall reverbs on this pedal are truly good, classic effects- used on countless hits over the years. I have several higher end reverbs, but this thing always ends up back on my board- it's that good. And it's super simple- one knob- select the reverb type you want with the toggle switch- select the wet/dry mix you want with the only knob- you're done. Buy one- you'll love it.

I'm no reverb purist but I know the sound I was looking for. My bands been getting a lot more shows lately and I didn't want to carry my 212 combo around to every show. The combo has a bunch of settings that I dialed in to get the sounds I need, but its just too big. I decided to put together a small pedalboard with reverb, distortion, tuner and possibly a wah, so I can just show up and plug it into any amp and pretty much have all the sounds I need. The spring and hall settings are definitely useful, I just don't see what use the "flerb" has. Also I find that when I crank the reverb control past about 2 o'clock the sound gets sloppy and useless. But with it set at about 1 o'clock I am able to get the reverb sound that I need so this is not a big deal.Read full review
I bought this unit for it;s lush reverb I use this unit with my Fender Bassman , with my 57 twin reissue and my 57 Deluxe this is by far the best compact reverb around ,THE SPING REVERB,along with the Hall and Flerb But the Spring reverb IS WHAT I USE MOST,I find being compact it fits well on my guitar board, also it has more creamier sound and very close to the more exspensive unit like the Fender 63 spring reverb which in most opinionis the best box reverb to get but by far much more cost to you I have tried other reverb units the Boss reverb in my opinion has a kinda mechanical sound, once I tried this unit I knew it was the one for me
As others have said this is a good pedal but the parameters need some tweaking. I like subtle reverb for most stuff and set it for about seven or 8 o’clock. Above that and you’re in heavier wash territory. I hear a difference in the three settings, spring being my favorite because it’s what I’m used to. The plate and hall are also good.

I'm using this reverb pedal with a '65 Ampeg Jet. It is exactly what I was looking for. I will most likely use the "Hall" and "Sping" reverb the most but the, "Flerb" is pretty cool. The instructions say the reverb knob acts like a wet/dry control. What it means is that from zero to 12 o'clock it adds an increasingly subtle amount of reverb. Past 12, it increases dramatically with less of you actual guitar tone. That's pretty cool if you like to experiment but I will most likely use 0-12. IMHO, the reverb sounds really good and exactly what I hoped for. I would imagine that like most pedals, it might sound different through different amps but as for my Jet, it's spot on. It's noiseless at this point used alone. I don't have my pedal board with me at this time so I will be interested to see how it performs when added to the group. The instructions also say NOT to use any other DC jack than the one provided because it could damage the unit and it DOES NOT take batteries. Not a problem for me but good to know before you buy. It's a sturdy pedal and I'm pretty sure it will go the distance.Read full review
