The Neptune Fantasy Barbie doll is the fourth edition of the Bob Mackie series, named "Neptune's Daughter". This 1992 Barbie doll is wearing a velvet gown, which is sequined with blue and green looks utterly stunning. The gown of this Barbie doll is designed in such a way that it gives a dramatic feeling of been surrounded by sea waves. Each wave is like a flame, made up of hand-sewn sequins and silver borders. The Neptune Fantasy Barbie doll has platinum blonde hair with a slight of turquoise stripe in them. The turquoise jeweled headpiece is placed on the head of this 1992 Barbie doll to complete her Princess of the Seven Sea appearance. This Barbie doll is the first doll of the Bob Mackie group to be characterized in a closed mouth sculpting.

The doll is stunning, unusual & in mint cond, box,shipr
I began collecting the earliest Barbies this year, as these will be the dolls treasured by the new generation of collectors, those born in the 60's and 70's. However when I began to receive books and magazines displaying the special newer Barbies like the Bob Mackie designs and the new Medusa 3 doll group,and some limited editions, I could not resist. I particularly loved the Neptune Barbie for it's fabulous design and out of the box creativity.She has been an outstand addition to my collection. I have been primarily a collector of Antique dolls or those of the 1930-1960 period mostly by Madame Alexander and Ginny, but I also have some excellent Ginger and Muffie Story Book dolls of quality and oodles of extra clothing, furniture and accessories.

What a stunningly gorgeous doll! I can't stop looking at her. I had wanted to own her for so long and now I finally do! She truly is a stunning addition to my Barbie collection. A beautifully creative fantasy design by fashion legend, Bob Mackie, using top quality fabric and hand-sewn beads and sequins. Everything about her just takes my breath away. Hurry for this doll if you want to snag her Never Removed From Box (NRFB). It's over 20 years since she was first released by Mattel so make sure you grab one before they are all gone!

The Neptune Fantasy Barbie Doll is very unique and worth every penny!
I'm a collector of Barbies and this particular doll caught my eye years ago, but she was ellusive. Finally, this year, I found her at the right price! She is probably one of the most gorgeous Barbie dolls around. I'm very happy to add her to my growing collection.

One of the Best of Mackie Design
I love this doll. It is very high quality. I finally found one without rolling on the top of the fanning. I think this must happen from displays that are not tall enough for the doll. She is worth a special display which I am getting.
