Amazing Headphones for a Great Price
These headphones are amazing. It’s lightweight, comfortable and has a good quality sound. It was shipped earlier than expected for me, and the packaging came completely brand new. These headphones do not feel cheap. The only problem is that if you put the volume too high, others can hear what you’re listening to, but it’s almost faint. I don’t see this as a major problem though because at normal listening level, others can’t hear what you’re listening to. These headphones are amazing. It’s lightweight, comfortable and has a good quality sound. It was shipped earlier than expected for me, and the packaging came completely brand new. These headphones do not feel cheap. The only problem is that if you put the volume too high, others can hear what you’re listening to, but it’s almost faint. Nice Pads but too thin.
Thank you for our nicely packaged product. Unfortunately these are half the thickness from the original pads. Our child has Autism and these headphone pads need to be very padded (as the previous pair were) and used for noise cancellation. Perhaps Sony has made changes since we purchased the last pair. Thank you for your time.

Good for the casual listener who doesn't mind heavy, cheaply made, bulky phones. Worth the price. Not for the professional audiophile.
Sound is good overall (rich bass and full volume). Nice "stated" frequency response of 12Hz - 22,000Hz, however specific frequencies are not showing up according to a Spectroid test. Construction leaves a bit to be desired. Not a fan of the shiny, mirror-like plastic on the cups (it's cheap feeling and quickly gathers dust and fingerprints). Short cord made of vinyl (might not last too long). They fit a bit tight (even over my smallish head) giving your ears a squeezed feeling, so I had to bend out the plastic headband a bit. I prefer the lighter, less bulky style of walkman headphones from the 1990's, but this one does cancel more outside noise and provides better bass. Inexpensive headphones for day to day operations!
For a knock around inexpensive headphone, you cant go wrong with the Sony MDRZX110 headphone set. It has modern features like folding clamshell design and sleek modern looking shell. If listening to high pitched analog audio, you tell its not reaching the extreme dynamic range, but for digital media such as listening to youtube or podcasts, its a fantastic headphone for the price. If you looking for better audiophile sound, look for the better Sony MDR-V150 units, particularly the older ones.
