The soldering underneath the GPU packaging looks somewhat sketchy, as the BGA solder connections / "balls" look very squished under one corner, and that corner is almost touching the PCB of the card, but as long as it works... Also, the fan bearing is making a grinding noise right out of the box.Follow-up from: u***i- Feedback followed up by buyer.- Feedback followed up by buyer.After taking the heat sink off, it has a paint-over "5500" with some mysterious re-coating of the chip, somewhat poorly done. I.e. it is probably a 5200 painted over with fake FX 5500 chip markings. 5200 chip is typical on these PCI cards from china, made using reused chips, if someone did not know already... Funnily, one of the RAM chips on this card is from NANYA, while the rest are winbond.
