This seller is a scammer. I was going to leave positive feedback but this seller is one of the rudest people I have come across. They strait up lied about the item they were selling. I returned the item using EBay’s return policy. Fast forward, and this person is sending me messages saying he is going to dispute my return and I’m lying about returning their whack item. eBay get seller like this off you’re platform please. Item purchased was a jersey holder. Just look at pictures….

    One Tuff Plugger

I just planted 600 plugs of Zoysia grass with this plugger and it worked flawlessly. The ejector pin pushed the old plugs out just like it said it would. And after 600 plugs, it still looks brand new. Nothing cheap about this. Love it, and would highly recommend it...

    Works but is not practical

The product is strong and actually made very well. However too much work to use it. I bought and 72 pieces of Zoysia grass plugs. My yard and soil was slightly moist and when using the sod plugger to dig out holes, the plugs of mud would get stuck in the plugger and I had to stomp on the smaller lever on the side several times to get the plug out. Successfully done it once after several stomps. After a few more stomping, my foot was getting sore so I got out a hammer and use it successfully, but made significant marks and dents on the green handle. After using this method for about 4 more plugs and taking too much time and effort on each, went and got a shovel and a pickax. After trying both tools, either one was better and much easier and quicker to use than the plugger. Could have ...

  • Great Product at a fair price

High quality welds and powder coating. Solid construction! Handle shaft could be 6 inches longer so I didn't have to lean over when using. Be sure lawn is somewhat moist when plugging or you'll have trouble cutting and extracting plugs. Its not the fault of the tool.

  • Does the job if you sod is not deep rooted.

To begin with, we live in Currituck Co. NC. Most lawns here are St. Augustine grass which is very dense with runners on the surface. The problem I ran into was that I could not get the butler to penetrate the firm sandy soil, and once I did get it down into the ground it would not pull out the plug. I even sharpened the sides of the plug cutter with very little positive effect. The roots are too deep and there is no way to cut them to lift the plug. I even tried swinging it back and forth hoping to break the roots. Still will not work. If you have soft loamy soil there should not be a problem especially if the soil is wet. It does not work well for me but I can see that it will work in some soils. Yes I do recommend this tool, as I said, FOR THE PROPER TYPE SOIL. Wish the mfg. had ...

  • They need to take this pice of junk off the shelves. It is no good unless you have a tractor to drive it in the ground to get a plug of grass.

This thing is worthless. Better off to use a hoe. Unless you weigh 400 # you can't get it in the ground I stood on it moved it back and forth to get it to go in the ground to get a plug of grass and this isn't real hard ground. No such luck. So I'm requesting a full refund and a free return shipping label. As you can see from the pics it still has the original tags and box also looks like new because it wouldn't go in the ground.
