      Good early history

      Brief but enjoyable treatment of early drag racing history. Interesting interviews with several significant people involved with the sport's development. Much of the imagery is from the fledgling days of the sport and features the rudimentary hot rods that were built for speed but little else. I did expect it to show more of the beautiful and elegant slingshot dragsters of the late 1960s (drag racing's golden era) than it did, but I'll just look forward to that in subsequent volumes!
