There’s a reason why this design was never copied.
These brakes,if you can get them mint work great until they don’t. The parallel movement break bad fittings that look so cool are doomed to fail. The rivets and control arms wear out and there becomes a considerable amount of play in the assembly that holds the brake pads . Boy do they look cool and man they sure do stop great. But they squeal so f_cking loud and there is no amount of toe or drag that will cure this. As soon as told my mechanic at my lbs that I had purchased these and was trying to adjust the squeal out. He informed me that it was pointless and these brakes have a expiration date on them. And can’t be rebuilt. Newer isn't always better
These are old school brakes but they are quite strong, and very easy to ajust. I find you don't have to spend 20 - 30 minutes fighting with the brakes to get them lined up properly. I have an Ebike and I can reach speeds of 40-50km/h and these brakes will bring me to a full stop very quickly. Highly recomend these to anyone looking for some serious braking power.
