Great fit for my older Linux PC

I've used NVidia for decades, but needed to revive an older PC. Even though the PC has on-board graphics and the NVidia chipset, Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon only seemed to work in software rendering mode. Video playback just wasn't possible. This card fixed that instantly. I didn't have to setup anything special since the Radeon drivers are open source and natively supported. All I had to do was to change the sound output to be routed over HDMI. MPlayer doesn't work correctly with this card (everything turns red in the video), but VLC works great. I haven't tried Steam or other gameplay on this setup.

  • Great value, watch who you're buying from.

Amazing graphics card for the price you can buy it for. I bought mine for around $60-$70 used and it performs well. Benchmarks show it performs similarly to a GTX1050ti and it really does. Only issue is that one of the fans is giving out and is making alot of rattling noise and doesn't spin as fast. It's a really easy fix and for around $13 more, you can buy the DUAL-X replacement fans that will return the card to being silent.

  • I'd buy it again.

Runs quiet, cool and as well as you'd expect a good graphics card to run.

  • Reliable

For the price, these are good cards for general use these days.

  • So far doesn't work

I've installed it in 3 different PCs with absolutely no luck in getting it to work. I've read that it's a driver conflict in windows 10 but even after contacting AMD to get the official fix it's still doesn't function
