    Is 5+ mm really worth it...

    when compared to the OE TB. Nicely made product, perfect fit and takes OE wiring connection. The OD of this unit is slightly larger then stock so you'll have to stretch the rubber boot a bit to get it on. A little lube and some heat from the sun seemed to work great. My only complaint would be the screws used to attach the plate to the shaft. The factory unit has small head Torx screws that are deformed from the back to prevent them from coming out. This unit has larger head Phillips head screws that protrude a bit from the shaft. You could argue that they may create turbulence. and drag which could in turn hurt power but you'd probably never feel it. For the price I'd just like to see some more attention to detail paid in this area. I am sure the screws are Loctited but I also spiked the ...
