NotesMy name is Rick Nelson and it was Rick Nelson long before I picked up a guitar. I've made a living in south Fl. Playing music for 20 years. I sing, play guitar, harmonica and laugh a lot. I sell this CD of 15 all original songs at my performances. I've played music everywhere in Palm Beach County from the Moose lodges to Donald Trumps Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach. My songs are from the heart with a little bit of truth and a lot of imagination. There are certain artist that have always held a place in my heart for different reasons. I feel I learned a lot from all of them and this CD is the result of those lessons. Just to mention a few. Harry Chapin, what a story teller. Neil Young, such memorable lines. Jimmy Buffett, Just a master of the working mans vocabulary with tropical sprinkled all over it. When I hear someone's music for the first time, I like to hear every word. If an artist is proud of his writings then he should be sure his audience hears every word. A song is a picture in the mind put to music. If you miss some words, you'll miss some of the picture. I hope you enjoy this CD, Rick Nelson.
