Does the job. Quite useful. Sufficient customizability. Needs customizability.
As a dyslexic, I do not like the default fonts. However, it's easy enough to install a (single) user reading font.
The default font size is also "meh", but using Calibre, convert to old mobi format (not new/both), and font size 21.5 works just fine.
In comparison to the keyboard (3rd gen):
1. This model can reduce page clears to every 6th page, which makes page turning significantly faster (good)
2. There is no audio / reading a book aloud (not-so-good).
For whatever reason, Kindles do not show the cover of your current book by default when the kindle is "off" / book is closed. This is probably, oddly, one of the worst things about the kindle.
Kindles basically do their job, and do it well. If I had a real complaint, it's that (1), there is no way to locate it when you lose it, and (2), I wear them out in about 12-18 months (max).
